Key Drop Service Pedestal Base Kits expand the options for secure surface mounting - no wall required. The highly visible key drop box with "We offer 24 Hour Key Drop Service for your convenience" on the front that makes it easy for customers to locate. Under the handle there are simple instructions ("Pull to Open - Envelopes inside") to help them understand how to use it. When open, the door becomes a writing surface to make filling out a key drop envelope easy. Above the envelope storage area are arrows and "Insert Envelope Here", so customers understand where they should insert their envelope with the key. A metal baffle inside the box prevents fishing and keeps the keys safe until you remove them. Once the door is released, it slowly closes on its own to protect the envelope storage area and drop slot from the weather, thanks to our patent pending design. Add your own padlock (not included) to keep the contents secure. When you are ready to empty it, remove the padlock, slide the latch to the left and the bottom door opens for easy access. The key drop box and pedestal base are made of durable, powder coated steel to withstand outdoor use for many years.

Choose from Mechanical Envelopes with easy to use check boxes for services needed or Standard Envelopes with a large writing space for customer requests and comments. Mechanical Envelopes with Yellow Arrow provide a highly visible reminder that the customer's signature is needed before work can begin.
